Job Summary:
The Product Manager is responsible for managing and supporting product development efforts. This position works with our partners and internal staff to define and develop new product ideas directly applicable to existing and potential catalog products. The Product Manager provides the future of Kendall Howard products and portray the overall vision to senior staff.
Essential Functions:
- Identify new products through extensive market research, customer feedback and market needs
- Implement multi-year new product roadmaps
- Collaborate with sales to define new product sales forecasts
- Oversee engineering design, changes, and revision documents
- Coordinate and manage new packaging, branding & instruction creation
- Direct ongoing pricing review efforts
- Lead a cross functional team to define all marketing efforts for new and existing products
- Monitor sales trends and identify product EOL or re-design changes
- Manage any internal & external testing and certifications
- Assist sales department with technical questions on features and benefits of products
- Provide training to sales, marketing & new employees on all products
- Maintain product uploads (FTP & 3rd party portals) for internal and external use
- Be the liaison between Sales, Marketing, Engineering & Production
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Project Management, Product Management, Marketing or similar disciplines.
- 3 years of experience in product lifecycle
