Product Manager - Valves, Actuators & Flow Control Systems


📍 Clemons, North Carolina (On-Site)

💰 Compensation: Up to $130,000 + Full Benefits


Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of industrial flow control products used across water treatment, chemical processing, aquatics, and other demanding industrial environments.


They are seeking a Product Manager with a strong technical background to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of key valve, actuator, and control system product lines.


This role works closely with engineering, sales leadership, and executive management to guide product innovation, strengthen market positioning, and support continued growth across North America.


This position is based on-site in Clemmons, North Carolina.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full product lifecycle for valves, actuators, and flow control system product lines.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on product design, specifications, and development priorities.

• Translate customer needs and market insights into new product opportunities and product enhancements.

• Work closely with sales teams to develop product positioning, technical messaging, and training materials.

• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to support strategic product decisions.

• Support new product launches and cross-functional initiatives across engineering, operations, and marketing.


Ideal Candidate Background:

We are particularly interested in individuals with technical experience in mechanical or electrical systems related to industrial equipment and automation.


Strong candidates often come from industries such as:

• Industrial valves

• Flow control equipment

• Valve automation and actuators

• Industrial controls or instrumentation

• Pumps and fluid handling systems

• Water or wastewater equipment

• Chemical processing equipment

• Industrial automation or process control systems


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field preferred, not required.

• Experience in product management, product engineering, applications engineering, or technical sales.

• Strong understanding of industrial equipment, automation systems, or fluid control technologies.

• Ability to translate technical knowledge into product strategy and market positioning.

• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
