Product Manager – Valves, Strainers & Filters

A leading industrial manufacturer in the flow control space is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy and lifecycle management for core product lines including valves, strainers, and filters. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, market strategy, and commercial execution.

This individual will own assigned product lines from business case development through launch and eventual phase-out, driving profitable growth and ensuring new products are aligned with market needs and voice of customer insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute 3-year product line plans and long-term portfolio strategies

• Lead new product development initiatives from concept through launch

• Manage full product lifecycle and development pipeline

• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities

• Drive sales, margin, and market share performance for assigned lines

• Serve as subject matter expert to internal teams and customers

• Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and engineering

• Support product launches with aligned marketing strategy and collateral

Ideal Background:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Marketing, or MBA preferred)

• 5+ years of product management experience

• Industrial manufacturing background strongly preferred

• Experience in flow control, valves, filtration, or related industrial products a plus

• Demonstrated success launching new products

• Strong business acumen with P&L ownership exposure

• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and present at all levels
