Job Title: Product Manager (Offering Manager – IOI / New Product Development) Trystar is at the forefront of advancing power solutions, building innovative products through cross‑functional collaboration and a focus on safety and customer success. Role Overview The Offering Manager – IOI leads Trystar’s new offering development agenda, identifying market opportunities, validating commercial viability, and ensuring technology investments deliver measurable revenue impact. Key Responsibilities Opportunity Pipeline: Build and maintain a disciplined pipeline of new offering opportunities, prioritized by market size, strategic fit, competitive differentiation, and feasibility. Investment Cases: Develop investment‑grade business cases with market validation, customer evidence, competitive landscape, financial modeling, and build/partner/buy analysis to support go/no‑go decisions. Stage‑Gate Governance: Own the stage‑gate framework that advances programs from concept to pilot to commercial launch, ensuring validation at each stage and clear accountability. Commercial Handoff: Define readiness requirements for new solutions transitioning to OM‑Commercial/Demand ownership, including positioning, pricing inputs, and sales enablement. Key Outcomes: Drive a vitality index – percentage of revenue from solutions introduced within the last 24 months; grow an innovation pipeline value – total addressable revenue of programs in active development; achieve business‑case realization – percentage of forecasted Year 0 revenue achieved at launch. Qualifications 7+ years in product management, innovation management, or new business development in a B2B industrial, electrical, or technology‑intensive environment. Track record of identifying, validating, and commercializing new solution offerings with measurable revenue impact. Strong market research and customer discovery skills, including VOC synthesis and investment‑grade business case development. Experience with agile, scrum, stage‑gate, or phase‑gate development processes and program governance. Financial modeling capability for market sizing, P&L projection, and investment return analysis. Ability to operate under ambiguity, making fast, iterative decisions. Proficiency in integrating AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot into workflows, with examples of accelerated output. Monthly travel required for candidates not based in Minnesota. Preferred Skills Experience in electrical power systems, energy transition, or industrial automation; involvement in launching new solution offerings.
