We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Product Manager work on Remote basis.

Imp Note:- Only send candidates with data/backend experience from retail companies

Required Skills

  • Chicago preferred but open to remote 2+ year funded workstream
  • Please do not send candidates without retail/merchandising skills.
  • Must be data/backend Focused NOT ecommerce or digital
  • 6+ years of experience as a product manager
  • Product-specific to space planning and space management area-their job is how they plan store spaces across the country
  • Merchandising product team-building systems/business tools that the merchants are using to execute their jobs
  • Profitability analysis tool-see can product line they have built the UI and team backend API integrations
  • Expanded product out into every avenue of the business
  • Direct oversight and provide guidance on data needs and data captures
  • Looking for retail space product experience.
  • Know merchandising and B2B. Relex, Oracle systems, SAP, Annaplan and Blueyonder tool 70% Relex tool build and 30% backlog(pretty well defined just need to execute) ADO and JIRA

Job Description

Client is looking for a customer-centric, data-driven, and motivated individual to join our product merchandising team. This individual will work on high-impact merchandising workstreams focused on reshaping Client's retail business.

We're looking for someone with retail and/or merchandising experience with strong business and product sense to deliver on detailed timelines. This individual should have experience in building both consumer facing and back-end retail tools/systems. You will help gather requirements, communicate, and work collaboratively across multiple teams and levels in the organization. You will help execute the strategic development and management of new and existing merchandising initiatives that will drive revenue growth and profitability for our retail business.

The ideal candidate will thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous environment and knows how to operate with competing priorities. You will work closely with engineering, product, and across multiple teams. The ability to influence product priorities, advocate for agile ways of working, exceptional communication, and collaboration across the organization are essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Translates the divisional sales goals and customer experience into a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap for key product area.
  • Develops and maintains the product and feature roadmap for assigned area. Manages prioritization among user experience, technology and central marketing organizations.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves strategic issues for assigned product area that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial and technical goals.
  • Works closely with the engineering technology team and user interface designers to define detailed key product requirements.
  • Manages, mentors and develops a team of Business Analysts or Associate Product Managers.
  • Grows adoption and usage of the Client's front end store business. Identifies and quantifies the customer segments with strong growth potential, creating Develops the business case and strategy for targeting.
  • Implements growth strategy by coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver any necessary changes.
  • Measures and analyzes impact of existing functionality. Identifies opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to the customer. Builds strong internal relationships with technology and development teams to drive implementation.
  • Measures and analyzes the impact of existing pricing and merchandising. Identifies opportunities to innovate and improve. Builds strong internal relationships with the sales, user experience, technology and central marketing organizations to drive implementation of new merchandising strategies.
  • Conducts business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring and reporting.
  • Writes well informed business requirements based on input from data, discussions with other individuals and own thinking and will then refine and drive to conclusion these business requirements through effective communication and proactively seeking out the appropriate individuals.
