The Product Marketing & Subscriber Strategy team builds DTC strategies and testing roadmaps that drive growth, engagement and business results across subscription types. With a focus on optimizing the fan experience across touchpoints, from Marketing Landing Pages through upselling and cancellation flows, building loyal fans who understand the value proposition and stay subscribers. We understand the DTC business and effectively communicate and steer priorities through strategic and targeted marketing efforts.Position Summary: As an Associate Manager of Product Marketing at ESPN, this employee is responsible for executing marketing strategies to drive the adoption and usage of ESPN's direct-to-consumer products. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product goals, conducting market research to identify opportunities, and crafting compelling messaging to engage target audiences. The employee will also analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns and contribute to the overall growth and success of ESPN's product offerings. This position will report into the Sr. Director Product Marketing. The position is based in New York, New York.Responsibilities:Support the team in developing actionable insights from data, analytics and research to drive programs that maximize engagement of ESPN+ subscribers.Work closely with teams focused on engagement and retention, such as Data Analytics and CRM to implement plans and measure effectiveness of each component to ensure refinement and performance evaluation.Collaborate cross functionally to ensure projects and campaigns meet deadlines.In partnership with product management, understand product features and benefits, ensuring that marketing efforts and education align with goals and enhance the customer experience.Analyze subscriber and fan data to identify key segments and tailor marketing campaigns to specific audiences to maximize engagement and retention.Monitor and analyze the performance of campaigns using key metrics and KPIs, provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.Develop presentations and reporting using PowerPoint, Google Slides, and analytics dashboards to highlight product marketing performance and impact.Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, SEO and moreProficiency in marketing analytics and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Proficient in using analytical and marketing automation toolsKnowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.Interpersonal Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Preferred Qualifications:Passion for sports and familiarity with ESPN's brand and audience.Required Education:Bachelors degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or a related field#ESPNMEDIAThe hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $ $80,770 to $108,350 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
