The Product Owner is responsible for the direction of assigned products. This responsibility will exist throughout the product life cycle from idea through development, launch, operation, and end of product life. The Product Owner facilitates the strategies and provides input into plans and is responsible for obtaining senior management team approval and funding for proposed strategies and plans. As such, impact on the department is very high. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in Product Management Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholder groups Establishes high level of trust and credibility internally, with customers, and with business partners Ability to influence and collaborate with development teams Ability to translate business requirements into well-articulated technical requirements Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to design and articulate solutions Ability to act in an expert capacity for assigned product(s), providing an understanding of detailed client requirements. Have a vision for moving forward with assigned product(s) Qualifications Telecommunications industry experience preferred PMP Certification preferred Processes: Highly experienced level of proficiency with Agile SCRUM and Agile story writing best practices Tools: Proficiencies in Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, and Microsoft Office Suite Proven skills working with Senior leadership to develop a vision and roadmap resulting in delivering high quality products to clients Ability to manage complex projects, evaluate risk, communicate with leadership, and adapt to changing business needs Excellent planning and organizational skills involving the ability to manage multiple work tasks effectively.
