We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support and expand a general workflow management platform that enables end-to-end process orchestration across multiple internal business functions. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, streamlining lifecycle workflows, and delivering high-quality enhancements in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. You will work closely with product managers, service delivery teams, subject-matter experts, and design resources while collaborating with fully offshore development teams who rely on highly detailed, accurate user stories. This position suits a proactive self-starter who thrives with minimal direction and takes full ownership of outcomes.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $66.00/hr. w2


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the product vision and roadmap for the workflow management platform.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and story maps.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clarity and readiness for an offshore development team.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Work with design teams to map workflows, refine user experiences, and support feature discovery.
  • Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and feature reviews.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests, determine impact, and plan delivery sequencing.
  • Operate independently within a flat organization and take full ownership of outcomes.
  • Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives, including replacement or re-platforming of legacy workflow systems.

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile software environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to write user stories, requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore engineering teams with emphasis on clarity, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA or another modern ticketing or work tracking system.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, manage shifting priorities, and work autonomously.
  • Self-starter mindset with ownership, initiative, and accountability.
  • Experience working with product management, operations, and design teams to define features and workflows.
  • Experience with PEGA, Salesforce, or other SaaS workflow management systems (preferred).
  • Telecom industry experience (preferred).
  • Experience supporting medium to large business customer processes (preferred).
  • Software development background or strong technical fluency (preferred).
  • Experience developing or improving internal tools that support customer journey workflows (preferred).
