Product Owner Apply
We have an immediate opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Product Owner, to work in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit requirements and document them clearly.
- Participate actively in workshops to gather and refine requirements.
- Prepare detailed design documents.
- Manage software configuration to ensure consistency and traceability.
- Validate applications in various environments to ensure they meet requirements.
- Prepare Master Project Plan (MPP), assign tasks, track status, and use metrics to monitor stream-level non-compliances.
- Customize the Guidewire product to meet specific business needs.
- Develop data models to support application functionality.
- Develop business logic and rules to support business processes.
- Develop user interfaces using PCF (Page Configuration Files).
- Map Lines of Business (LOB) to application functionality.
- Implement localization for different locales to support global users.
- Develop using Gosu for creating classes and enhancements.
- Prepare Unit Test Cases (UTC) and perform unit testing.
Skills:
- Strong experience in requirement elicitation and documentation.
- Proficiency in participating in and facilitating workshops.
- Experience in preparing comprehensive design documents.
- Knowledge of software configuration management.
- Ability to validate applications in different environments.
- Skilled in preparing and managing Master Project Plans (MPP).
- Experience in customizing Guidewire products.
- Knowledge of data model development.
- Proficient in business logic and rule development.
- Experience in developing user interfaces using PCF.
- Knowledge of Line of Business (LOB) mapping.
- Understanding of localization for different locales.
- Development experience using Gosu for creating classes and enhancements.
- Ability to prepare Unit Test Cases (UTC) and perform unit testing.
