As a Product Structure Technician, you will play a pivotal role in driving our continued success and growth by leveraging your product knowledge/application and support of the sales and production teams.

Job Overview:

As a Product Structure Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our product data and structures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and sales to maintain and optimize the product data structure within our systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Data Management:

  • Create and maintain accurate product structures in our database/system.
  • Enter and maintain all part numbers, routings, and bills of material.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and document product

configurations.

  • Update and revise product structures as needed to reflect changes in design or

manufacturing processes.
1. Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct regular audits of product data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and address discrepancies or inconsistencies in product structures.
  • Work closely with quality control teams to validate and verify product data against

physical prototypes.

2. Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information

for product structure updates.

  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve any issues

related to product structures.

3. Continuous Improvement:

  • Propose and implement improvements to product data management processes.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and technologies related to product data

management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Basic understanding of a computerized ERP System.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
