Job Description: Shipping and Receiving Worker

Location/Division Specific Information:

Liverpool, NY USA. AIG/CMD Cameras and Imagers.


As a Shipping and Receiving Worker you will help deliver various types of products related to the Cameras and Imagers business. You will provide shipping, receiving, storage and order fulfilment services for finished goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts and equipment.

A Day in the Life:

Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store and accurately process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.
Sustain a high level of quality to ensure customers receive accurate product and within specified timeframe.
Receive materials and/or finished goods daily.
Verify the quality, type and number of materials received are accurate and appropriate documentation is present (e.g. packing list).
Safely operate distribution/warehouse equipment, as required.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent experience accepted.

Experience:

Required: Minimum of 1 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers), loading docks, pallet jacks


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Basic computer knowledge (to navigate ERP systems, Outlook and MS Office programs and warehouse software) and basic math skills (addition, subtraction, etc.)
Interpersonal/customer service skills to maintain working relationships with colleagues.
Ability to prepare and file routine documentation.


Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, sit, kneel, stand, crouch and crawl.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment under various temperatures including room temperature.
