Production Associate - 2nd Shift 1123 Mineral Springs Drive, Port Washington, WI, USA Pay based on experience Hourly Full Time Comprehensive Benefits for eligible full-time employees Do you consider yourself detail-oriented, meticulous, precise? Can you follow directions and work with minimal supervision? If you can answer 'yes' to these questions, then this may be the right job to consider! We are Custom Wire Technologies, Inc., a leader in OEM Medical Component Manufacturing with over 50 years of industry experience using the latest technology. If you become a Production Associate with us, you will help manufacture products that save lives. Our work is top-notch, and our team puts quality first. What to expect on a typical day? Being responsible for knowing where each step of the multiple jobs you are supporting are in their manufacturing process Reviewing and understanding work orders, job routing information, and process instructions about each job you are running Observing and operating machines including making necessary minor adjustments Report major machine problems Setup, run, and inspect assemblies including final packaging and ready-for-ship processes Conduct, as needed, secondary operations including assembly, packaging, trimming, cutting, and/or grinding Examine and test for quality and record such things as part counts and product dimensions What is expected of a Production Associate? A successful Production Associate will exhibit professionalism and commitment to their work including demonstrating accountability, punctuality, and teamwork in a detailed and organized fashion A positive and supportive attitude Understand the company mission and production processes Ability to secure knowledge and proper use of the tools and equipment necessary to complete the job promptly Must be able to: Ability to stand and walk for periods of up to 4 hours and occasionally lift to 25 pounds. Strong detail orientation and good eyesight (aided or unaided) to see and work with very small components Understanding or ability to quickly learn basic measurements as required for production and quality-related tasks. Job Hours: 2nd Shift Full Time: Monday through Friday, 2 pm to 10 pm Occasional Overtime is required, with commensurate pay. We highly encourage employees to assist as much as they can with these efforts which could include the need to stay late or come in early to meet production needs. At this time, we are not considering candidates that need any type of immigration sponsorship now or in the future to work in the United States.
