Production Associate

Cortech DBA JosbRUs is a service-oriented staffing and recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We are currently hiring Production Workers for a local manufacturer in Syracuse, NY.

1st Shfit
Monday to Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM or Wednesday through Saturday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

2nd shift
Monday to Thursday 2:30PM to 12:30AM or Wednesday through Saturday 2:30PM to 12:30AM

Pay: $17 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential

Duties and Responsibilities
-Performs any finishing/assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
-Quality control checks and record keeping
Maintains cleanliness of facility
-Communicates with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
-Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment
-Perform other duties as requested by VP of Operations and/or Maintenance Supervisor
-Operates fork lift as required

Skills and Abilities Required:
-Ability to apply commonsense understanding of written or oral instructions.
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety roles, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality requirements and procedure manuals.
-Physical demand: Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10-70 pounds and occasionally slide up to 200 pounds.
