A Production Engineer in capacitor manufacturing is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production of electrical components, ensuring that manufacturing processes—such as winding, assembly, and testing—are efficient, safe, and meet quality standards. Roles & ResponsibilitiesProcess Oversight: Supervise all stages of capacitor manufacturing, including element winding (APP/Film), soldering, element assembly, drying, vacuum processes, and oil filling.Quality & Testing: Monitor and execute testing protocols such as Insulation Resistance (IR), High Voltage (HV), Tan Delta, and Capacitance to ensure products meet electrical specifications.Production Planning: Develop daily production schedules and allocate manpower to meet planned targets while maintaining minimum Work-In-Progress (WIP) stock.Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, optimize cycle times, and improve manufacturing cell designs.Problem Solving: Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) to troubleshoot production-related issues and implement preventative measures.Documentation: Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control performance records, and production metrics.
