Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, driven Production Manager to lead machine build operations while overseeing facility maintenance in a dynamic manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do
- Lead and optimize daily production operations, ensuring machines are built efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards
- Develop and manage assembly schedules to align with customer demands and production goals
- Serve as a technical expert on machinery, supporting troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supervise, coach, and develop assembly teams to maximize performance and engagement
- Partner closely with Purchasing and Inventory to ensure seamless material flow and production readiness
- Drive accountability for meeting production deadlines and shop job completion targets
- Utilize ERP systems to manage workflows, track progress, and improve operational visibility
- Oversee Machine Quality Control and ensure adherence to rigorous quality standards
- Provide leadership across both mechanical and electrical assembly functions
- Collaborate directly with senior leadership to align production strategies with business objectives
- Coordinate vendors and oversee facility maintenance activities to ensure a safe, efficient work environment
- Address minor building maintenance needs proactively to minimize downtime

What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in Production Management with strong supervisory leadership
- Mechanical aptitude with deep knowledge of production tools and manufacturing processes
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and improve operational efficiency
- Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Forklift certification with ability to operate sit-down, stand-up, and order picker equipment
- Background in technical training, certifications, or a college degree is preferred
