Together, We Shape the Future This role is responsible for overseeing operations within a designated manufacturing zone, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. This role combines hands‑on leadership with strategic oversight to drive performance and continuous improvement across the assigned area. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Manage daily operations within a specific production area, ensuring output meets quality and efficiency goals. Lead and supervise area personnel , including scheduling, training, and performance management. Monitor production metrics such as throughput, downtime, and defect rates; implement corrective actions as needed. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (maintenance, quality, logistics) to resolve issues and optimise workflow. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the area. Drive continuous improvement initiatives , applying lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Report area performance to senior production leadership and contribute to broader operational planning. All other duties assigned. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES To ensure Kelvion’s Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce. Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational Framework. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to read and interpret diagrams, BOMs, and instructions. Strong leadership and team‑building skills. Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems. Solid understanding of quality control, safety standards, and lean methodologies. Must be able to maintain a safe working environment. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels) Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred. 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands, arms, and shoulders.
