The Production Manager ensures that our mitigation team responds quickly, efficiently, and compassionately to property emergencies. As a Production Manager, you will deploy people and equipment, manage operations, coach your team, and collaborate with other departments to deliver extraordinary care when customers need it most. You are the steady, confident point of leadership in urgent property loss situations guiding both customers and team members through the chaos of fire, water, mold, and storm damage.

Production Manager

What Youll Do
- Manage mitigation projects following insurance carrier guidelines, including packouts, content cleaning, packbacks, and laundry restoration.
- Schedule and deploy mitigation teams, equipment, and resources during property emergencies.
- Evaluate team performance and coach technicians to close skill gaps and improve productivity.
- Review resumes and participate in hiring and interviewing mitigation personnel.
- Coordinate with other department leaders to ensure customers receive timely, exceptional service.
- Manage mitigation project budgets alongside assigned Project Managers.
- Oversee equipment maintenance scheduling to maximize uptime and reliability.
- Identify risks or issues in projects and communicate them clearly to Project Managers.
- Handle escalated or complex customer situations directly.
- Train personnel at all experience levels to improve efficiency and technical capability.
- Ensure KPI and Quality Metric documentation is accurate and that SLA expectations are met.
- Lead regular team meetings to maintain morale, communication, and operational excellence.
- Maintain inventory for mitigation supplies.
- Assist field technicians on job sites when additional support is needed.
- Review payroll timecards bi-weekly for accuracy and approval.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High commitment to customer service and professionalism.
- Ability to manage both office responsibilities and hands-on field work.
- Current knowledge of mitigation techniques, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Willingness to work emergency or on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven leadership experience in restoration, construction, mitigation, or related industries.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- 2+ years leading a team of 4+ direct reports in a restoration environment.
- IICRC certifications (WRT, AMRT, FSRT, ASD) or related credentials.
- 12 years of Xactimate experience.
- Analytical experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
