Production Manager – Food Manufacturing

Our client is looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role will lead production teams, ensure efficient operations, and maintain the highest standards for food safety and product quality.

The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing staffing and workflow, and monitoring key performance metrics such as yield, throughput, and labor efficiency. This person will work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistent production and compliance with all food safety regulations including HACCP and GMP standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys improving processes, developing teams, and driving operational performance. Experience in food manufacturing and a strong understanding of production environments is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing or production

Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety standards

Experience working with production metrics and continuous improvement initiatives

Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
