Production Manager Apply
The Production Manager oversees the operations of a high volume-production Clean and Screen & repair operation. This role involves managing the day-to-day activities, managing, and coordinating resources, and ensuring that the facility operates efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Sagent Space Operations Management (85%) Manage daily production activities, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions to optimize efficiency Manage employee work schedules Submit and approve employee's time with agencies and Sagent HR (Paycor system) Monitor employee attendance, correcting issues as needed Work with staffing agencies and HR to recruit new employees when required Work with staffing agencies and HR to discipline and/or release employee as required Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure working environment Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and professional development within the team Quality Assurance (5%) Implement quality control measures to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures and documentation Monitor quality metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate corrective actions KEY COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Proficiency of Acquired Skills, Aptitude, Capability Strong knowledge of facility operations, quality control, and safety protocols Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in clean and screen facilities is a plus Ability to use functional and situational reasoning Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to be flexible with job duties and scope of work Demonstrated ability to perform tasks to completion Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple concurrent assignments REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Education, Certifications, Skills Five years’ experience in high volume production management Bachelor's degree in or a related field (or equivalent work experience) strongly desired Additional certifications in Lean methodologies (such as Lean Six Sigma) are strongly desired Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
