Whether it is in the design and safety of new generations of cars, trucks and planes, or optimizing advanced medical equipment and consumer products, VPG's deep engineering expertise is making the world safer, smarter, and productive.We are seeking an experienced Production Manager.This is an on-site position seated at our DSI site in Poestenkill, NY.This position is responsible to oversee all aspects of Gleeble Equipment manufacturing. The role involves managing production planning, material resource scheduling, work order generation, and documentation control. The position includes responsibility for subcontractor management, procurement, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on plant safety.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or equivalent field5-15 years of manufacturing experienceComprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and electrical componentsProven expertise in production planning, enterprise systems, and material requirements planningStrong background in inventory management and process flow optimizationDemonstrated success in implementing and maintaining quality systemsTrack record of driving continuous improvement initiativesExcellence in interpersonal communication and conflict resolutionCommitment to fostering a strong safety cultureBenefitsBase Salary: $110,000 - $135,000Company sponsored benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D insurance, disability and flexible spending account (FSA)Voluntary Critical Illness & Accidental Injury InsuranceCompany 401(k) Plan with 4% employer match (Employee/Employer Contributions 100% vested upon hire)Paid vacation and holidaysBonus eligible positionThe estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time.
