Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager located in Santa Ana, CA. The Production Manager will oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to ensure operational efficiency and output quality. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, monitoring equipment and inventory, leading and training production teams, implementing safety measures, and striving for continuous improvement. Additional tasks involve communicating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and maintaining compliance with company and industry standards.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

• Experience in fixing backlog issues
• building culture
• Finding solutions
• Can act as cnc machinist if needed

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Organize daily/weekly production targets
• Ensure jobs are completed on time
• Balance workload across a small team

2. Team Management

• Supervise operators, technicians, and support staff
• Train new employees and upskill existing ones
• Handle attendance, performance, and morale

3. Quality Control

• Ensure products meet required standards
• Identify defects and fix root causes
• Maintain consistency in output

4. Process Improvement

• Look for ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
• Implement lean practices (even informally)
• Optimize workflows in a small-team environment

5. Inventory & Materials

• Ensure raw materials are available when needed
• Avoid overstocking or shortages
• Coordinate with purchasing or suppliers

6. Equipment & Maintenance

• Keep machines running smoothly
• Schedule basic maintenance
• Troubleshoot breakdowns quickly
