Ensures production volume, cost and quality of production and production schedules are met. Constantly monitors production processes and staffing levels. Maintains compliance with company policies and safety standards. Leads a team of direct reports.The Production Manager directs the daily operations of a production line, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely by managing staff, coordinating activity according to production schedules, and enforcing safety regulations and company policies. They are responsible for monitoring and evaluating employee performance, quality control, team development, and resolving production issues to maintain optimal output and product quality.
