Location: 1 Ledin Dr., Avon, MA - 02322 (must check in - initially at 264 Bodwell St., Avon, MA)

Type: 6 months contract on W2

Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift 3:30pm-midnight (Training will be completed on First shift 6am - 2:30 pm)

Training Duration: I would like to say 2 weeks, but we have had people that after 2 weeks need additional training. My goal is 2 weeks.

Interview Process: I would like to interview first, on teams, just a quick 30 minute interview, follow up with them coming here. It is only fair for the person being hired to see and understand what is going to be expected of them.

Pay Rate: $21.70, +1 after 2nd shift start

Job Description

Follow established procedures and guidelines to form a variety of simple, manual tasks that form part of a production process.

  • Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including:
  • Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders.
  • Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
  • Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition.
  • Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions and repairs.
  • Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
  • Repair and clean the equipment when needed.
  • Records movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies and verify the accuracy of work performed.
  • Use independent judgment to manufacture the organization's products according to established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards.
  • Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake standard and complex production tasks safely and in accordance with instructions. 
  • Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
  • Under general supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.

 

PPE:

Will require safety shoes, please have them provide their own if possible.
