Overview

This person oversees the production planning and scheduling of Laminated Cloth and Sandpaper and ensures compliance with ISO standards. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master production schedules to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines.
• Ensures adequate resources for production including personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Ensures production maintains compliance with ISO 9001
• Monitoring production processes to identify potential bottlenecks and disruptions, and implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintains inventory for production.
• Operates and maintains equipment.
• Assists with investigation of customer complaints related to laminated products.
• Purchases supplies.
• Verifies status of calibrated equipment as required.
• Assists with training of new employees.
• Performs additional duties as requested by Plant Manager

Requirements

• Ability to motivate, encourage and discipline effectively.
• Mechanically inclined person.
• Experience with ISO 9001
• Mandatory to have basic computer skills to include Email/Outlook (Excel and Sage would be helpful)
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 4 years of experience in a production related field.
• Capable of lifting 75lbs and maneuvering heavy items.
