Position Overview

We’re seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead our second shift operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. You’ll oversee production, manage staffing and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide a team during non-traditional hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate night shift production activities to meet goals in safety, quality, and productivity.

• Create, adjust, and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

• Lead, coach, and mentor team members to build skills and maintain high performance.

• Monitor equipment and production lines, addressing issues quickly to minimize downtime.

• Enforce food safety and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP, FDA) throughout operations.

• Partner with Quality Assurance and Maintenance to resolve issues and ensure audit readiness.

• Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize overnight production processes.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of food manufacturing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and compliance standards.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams on night shifts.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in food science, manufacturing, or business preferred.
