Position: Production / Operations Supervisor

Shift: Rotational (Day / Afternoon / Night)

Location - Perrysburg, OH

Pay rate Range - $55/hour on W2 - $70/hour on W2

Duration - 6 months contract

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring daily production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shop floor operations to meet daily production targets
• Supervise and guide a team of operators, drivers, and/or team leaders
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Handle real-time operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, and escalations
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and management for smooth material flow
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / process optimization)
• Maintain shift reports and ensure proper handover between shifts
• Support incident reporting and coordinate with safety/medical teams when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of experience in manufacturing / production / operations supervision
• Strong leadership experience managing shop floor workforce
• Experience working in rotational shifts
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of safety standards and incident handling
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP or similar) preferred
• Excellent communication and team management skills

Preferred Background

• Automotive / Manufacturing / Logistics / Supply Chain industries
• Experience handling drivers, dispatch, or material flow is a plus
