Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor. This role is responsible for leading daily production activities, driving safety and quality performance, and supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate brings experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment and a track record of improving operational results.

Job Duties

• Lead daily production activities to achieve output targets while meeting safety, quality, cost, and environmental expectations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the assigned production area
• Develop team members and team leaders to strengthen performance, accountability, and autonomy
• Maintain a positive and productive team environment focused on operational excellence
• Coordinate with manufacturing support teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow
• Mobilize resources to address production needs and support plant objectives
• Lead problem-solving efforts to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Monitor production performance and adjust priorities to support daily goals

Skills & Experience

Required:

• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment
• Background supervising daily production operations tied to safety, quality, and output goals
• Knowledge of continuous improvement practices in a manufacturing setting
• Experience supporting safety, quality, cost, and environmental standards on the production floor
• Hands-on problem-solving and root cause analysis experience
• Ability to develop frontline team members and team leads
• High school diploma or equivalent

Desired

• Experience partnering with cross-functional manufacturing support teams
• Exposure to KPI tracking and production performance reporting
• Experience implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and quality
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume production environments
• Additional technical or supervisory training in manufacturing operations
