This includes scheduling, training, and productivity of the employees, quality of the products, equipment effectiveness, and safety. An essential job duty of this position is regularly reporting to work on time and being able to perform the essential duties of the position.ResponsibilitiesEnsure availability of materials based on projected requirements.Administer company policies, work rules, and labor contracts in a fair and consistent manner.Meet Quality goals relating to food safety and quality, as well as internal and external audit results improvements.Ensure work is performed in compliance with HACCP regulations, quality specifications, and USDA guidelines.Make recommendations for improvements to procedures, methods, facilities, equipment, and other matter relating to the effectiveness of the production areas.Coordinate and supervises activities of the personnel and determine work assignments efficiently.Complete orientation and training thoroughly, timely, and effectively.Meet all efficiency goals related to yields, labor costs and inedible.Provide effective leadership and direction adhering to safety policies and meeting safety goals.OH Costs (Indirect labor & supply costs) are controlled as directed.Complete administrative functions accurately and timely.Effectively communicates and collaborates with all departments.Must be able to work 10-hour days and 6 to 7-day weeks as needed.Accept special projects and completes them promptly.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentHigh level of organizational and communication skills with the ability to motivate and direct people.
