About the Job

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor role is a high‑visibility, high‑impact leadership role within the Processing Department at TFI USA.

This is your opportunity to lead, influence, and innovate. You’ll partner with leaders across the plant, coach employees and bring new ideas to life. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures proper planning, staffing, and direction of the operational functions of the production process;
  • Reviews all operations performance daily to ensure optimal production is reached;
  • Manages production staff;
  • Ensures proficient training, staff development, and effective employee relation/recognition is achieved for all operational personnel;
  • Maintains pertinent operational statistics and results reporting;
  • Meets targets on overall business level & ensuring desired Service Level Agreements are met with optimum quality & service;
  • To develop and coordinate changes in staffing schedules;
  • To generate, review and manage process and facility SOP’s;
  • To support and drive Quality Assurance systems which ensures this new processing facility meets and exceeds USDA food processing standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a structured employee training program.


Requirements/Education/Experience/Skills

  • In excess of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the beef grinding and further processing industry.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of operations
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Computer knowledge required.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in related field or in lieu of degree work experience
  • Ability to work under and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ability to pass a Drug Test
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
