Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the production team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of custom apparel products.
- Plan and schedule production activities, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress to meet production targets.
- Work closely with the ownership team and other department managers to implement process improvements and enhance productivity.
- Maintain and enforce safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.
- Train and develop production staff, providing feedback and guidance to improve their skills and efficiency.
- Resolve any production issues or equipment malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Review and analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications during the production process.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation for management review.
Essential Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar role as a Production Supervisor or related position.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a production team.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to effectively manage production activities.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities to overcome production challenges.
- Knowledge of production processes and equipment used in the custom apparel industry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and strong quality control mindset to ensure product excellence.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Desired Experience
- Experience in the custom apparel industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with online webstores and e-commerce operations is a plus.
- Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
- Prior training and development of production staff.
