Base pay range $50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr SUMMARY The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production. This role oversees shift-based operations, directs production teams, supports quality and safety standards, and partners with cross‑functional teams to meet production goals. This position offers hands‑on leadership responsibility, exposure to continuous improvement initiatives, and the opportunity to directly impact operational performance. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operating standards Lead, coach, and support production personnel including operators, utility staff, and material handlers Assist with staffing needs including scheduling, onboarding, and training of production team members Monitor production flow, material usage, and equipment performance to support efficiency and reduce downtime Enforce GMP, safety programs, and standard operating procedures Partner with maintenance to address equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities Complete and maintain required production, quality, and compliance documentationCoordinate with quality and shipping teams to ensure finished products meet specifications and delivery timelines Foster a positive team environment focused on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Perform additional duties as needed to support operational goals QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment required Working knowledge of production line operations and equipment Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred Experience in plastics, packaging, or food manufacturing environments a plus Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing standards preferred Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to use basic computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and perform physical job duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting BENEFITS Leadership role with direct influence on production, safety, and quality outcomes Consistent shift schedules to support work‑life planning Hands‑on management experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Opportunity to develop teams and grow leadership skills Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices Stable manufacturing environment with long‑term growth potential Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Production #J-18808-Ljbffr
