Support the ISO9001 Business Management System (BMS). In the event of defective equipment or safety violation, this title has the authority to stop production. This job will have the following responsibilities: Understand Quality Policy as it relates to your job. Use the master production schedule and shift log to coordinate operator assignments. Coordinate all mold changes with the mold setters and materials with the appropriate personnel. Ensure the press cycle sheets on the work order are maintained and initialed. Monitor and document all tooling and maintenance needs according to established procedures. Utilize ERP Software System to monitor the efficiencies of all operators on the production floor and correct inefficiencies when found. Evaluate and optimize the production processes for quality and rate improvements. Ensure operators have received all necessary training to perform the job properly, and update training files accordingly. Qualifications & Requirements: Must have 3+ years of plastic injection molding experience No job hoppers High school diploma or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must know how to read and write English. All paperwork requirements must be in English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret drawings/blueprints, work orders, and procedures. Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Working knowledge of statistical methods and controls. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from them. Set priorities and react to multitask situations in an efficient manner. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand and reach with hands and arms. Lifting of up to fifty-five (55) pounds is required. Standing for up to twelve (12) hours is required.
