Production SupervisorPosition OverviewWe build the hardware/software for highly advanced VR flight simulators. The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves managing a team, optimizing production efficiency, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure the timely completion of production schedules.Monitor production metrics and assess workflow efficiency to identify areas for improvement.Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of safety and quality.Implement and uphold quality assurance standards throughout the production process.Collaborate with engineering and management to optimize production techniques and processes.Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production lines to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.Assist in the development and implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance productivity.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of production processes and quality assurance standards.Familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, and Lean Manufacturing practices is a plus.Experience with PCB assembly, testing, and mechanical hardware is preferred.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce.Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, 401k w/ match, PTO, Sick time, etc.
