Job Title: Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Location: South Windsor, CT (Onsite 100%)

Shift: Monday to Friday | 4:00 PM 12:00 AM

We are actively seeking a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) to join our operations team in South Windsor, CT. This is a hands-on leadership role with strong growth potential and visibility across the business. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production floor activities, manage staff, prioritize workloads, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

• Supervise daily production operations during the 2nd shift

• Manage and lead a team of approximately 15 25 employees (permanent and temporary)

• Ensure production jobs are prioritized, scheduled, and completed accurately and on time

• Oversee receiving of materials and distribution to the production floor

• Sign off on all jobs including material, media, and verification checks

• Monitor and optimize production efficiency while minimizing downtime

• Supervise mail industry production equipment (Bindery, Insertion, Postal Sort)

• Coordinate with supporting departments (Print, Inkjet, Forms, Scheduling) to meet SLAs

• Maintain proper staffing levels and provide lead time to warehouse teams for materials

• Work with external vendors for sorting and labor forecasting needs

• Ensure all safety, quality, and ISO standards are met

• Train, mentor, and cross-train associates to reduce labor costs and improve flexibility

• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and career development activities

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 3 5 years of warehouse experience

• 3 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience

• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment

• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and occasional weekends

• Comfortable using computers and applications such as Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Experience in production, mail, or manufacturing environments

• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills

• Ability to lead diverse teams and maintain composure in dynamic environments
