We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within a dynamic factory environment at our Vandergrift, PA Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost Control for their assigned work areas of the facility. This position is primarily a M-F daylight position but requires flexibility to cover off-shifts and weekends as needed. Premium pay is available for shift coverage and overtime. Essential Functions Facilitate the installation of continuous improvement projects to reduce the overall cycle time of material flowing through the plant Implement mission critical maintenance to increase reliability while reducing quality cost associated with line stops Supervise work and provide technical assistance to respective hourly personnel in the organization unit operations adhering to safety and housekeeping controls Make modifications to electrical systems based on reliability and production needs Assure availability of operations equipment for on-time delivery. Assure correct operation of equipment for quality assurance Create cross training opportunities Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field OR Four years of experience in a manufacturing supervisor role Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with PLC's, motor control centers static drives and power distribution Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrate the ability to manage priorities & work schedule to consistently meet deadlines. Ability to effectively lead a diverse and represented hourly workforce Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organization skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software - Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc. and ability to use and maintain related company systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
