Job Requirements Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency. Other Experience and Qualifications Job Overview Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily production operations and ensuring quality, accuracy, and on-time completion of all work produced on the production floor. This role focuses on floor leadership, staff supervision, workflow execution, quality enforcement, real-time problem resolution, team development, and shared accountability. Responsibilities and Duties Work in close partnership with the General Manager to align production performance with company goals and customer commitments. Oversee daily production schedules and ensure jobs are completed on time and in the correct sequence. Assign personnel to machines and production areas based on workload, priorities, and staffing levels. Monitor inserters, printers, and finishing equipment to ensure smooth operation and identify issues in real time. Take ownership of the quality and accuracy of all product produced on the production floor, understanding that when errors occur, they are a shared responsibility between leadership and the individual. Ensure strict adherence to all SOPs and hold staff accountable to established processes and procedures. Maintain clean, organized production floors and equipment at all times, setting the standard for operational discipline. Lead and support production employees by setting clear expectations, providing direction, coaching performance, and positioning team members for success. Participate in operational error review meetings to understand what happened and why, focusing on solutions and prevention rather than blame. Partner with the Operations Process & Training Specialist to coordinate retraining when gaps are identified, ensure retraining is completed, and reinforce expectations on the production floor. Implement and follow through on corrective actions identified through error reviews and operational discussions. Enforce all quality control, safety, and operational procedures consistently to meet or exceed customer SLAs. Coordinate with Maintenance, Customer Care, and Operations leadership to minimize downtime and support onboarding of new applications. Qualifications An eye for 100% accuracy. Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 35 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
