Production Support AnalystContract until end of October Hybrid – 3x/week on-site (Downtown Toronto)Insight Global is seeking a Production Support Analyst to support one of our largest banking clients. This is a contract role focused on providing Level 2–3 production support across cloud-based infrastructure and applications. The successful candidate will support AWS environments, production systems, and CI/CD pipelines while working closely with development and data teams.ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for applications, infrastructure, and databases in a cloud environmentMonitor and manage production and deployment tasks through ServiceNow, ensuring SLA adherenceAdminister and support AWS environments, including ECS, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and related servicesMonitor system performance, availability, and usage using CloudWatch, SignalFx, RunScope, and SplunkProvide 24/7 production support for critical applicationsManage AWS access controls, security, and data integrity using IAM and KMSMonitor and optimize AWS costs; recommend and implement cost‑saving strategiesStay current with AWS feature updates and guide development teams on adoption and best practicesSupport CI/CD pipelines and assist developers with deployments using JenkinsAutomate operational tasks using Python scripting and CloudFormationMaintain system documentation, runbooks, and ensure documentation standards are met by development teamsProactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues or escalate when requiredParticipate in disaster recovery (DR) exercisesSupport data pipelines and work with tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, and LookerAssist with project-based work including analysis, testing, development, and documentationBuild strong working relationships with developers and business stakeholdersContribute subject matter expertise to technology roadmap and integration planningRequired Skills & Experience4–5+ years of experience in production support, cloud operations, or system operationsStrong hands-on AWS experience (CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, IAM, KMS, RDS, CloudTrail)Experience supporting serverless and cloud-native architecturesHands-on experience with Splunk for logging and troubleshootingSolid understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking fundamentalsLinux and Windows administration experienceExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, Python)Self-starter who can ramp up quickly in a fast-paced environmentWe may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
