Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive Production Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise in diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving production issues by delving into source code and presenting effective solutions. This role focuses heavily on technical skills and requires strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and system stability.
  • Technical Skills: .NET Core 6, MVC, MVVM, Oracle, MS SQL, 70 80% backend.

Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

  • Analyze, debug, and resolve complex production issues by reviewing source code and identifying root causes.
  • Work on incidents and problem tickets to ensure timely resolution and minimal business disruption.

Solution Development and Implementation:

  • Design and propose effective solutions to resolve root causes of issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to gain solution approval.
  • Implement approved solutions in the production environment, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Technical Collaboration and Communication:

  • Liaise with developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to understand system behavior and dependencies.
  • Document root cause analyses, resolutions, and process improvements.
  • Share insights and lessons learned with the broader team to improve processes and system resilience.

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

  • Proactively monitor system performance to identify potential issues.
  • Participate in regular system health checks and preventative maintenance activities.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Backend Development: 70-80% focus on backend systems.
  • Programming and Frameworks: Proficient in .NET Core 6, MVC, and MVVM.
  • Database Management: Expertise in Oracle and MS SQL for querying, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production support or a similar technical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

Interview Process: 30 minute WebEx with Rita possible coding exercise panel 60 minutes.
