Job Summary

We are hiring a Machine Operator / Auxiliary Operator to support daily production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role operates previously set-up machines and focuses on quality, safety, and consistency. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to grow in manufacturing or machining.


Key Responsibilities

·         Operate previously set-up production equipment, including:

      • Drill presses
      • Broaching machines
      • CNC machining centers
      • Manual and CNC lathes

·         Load and unload raw materials and finished parts

·         Review blueprints and work orders to understand part specifications

·         Start machines and monitor operation during production

·         Perform visual inspections and basic dimensional checks using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges

·         Record production data and complete required documentation

·         Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

·         Maintain a clean and organized work area

·         Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

·         Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)

·         Ability to interpret basic blueprints and work instructions

·         Experience using basic measuring tools (micrometers, pin gauges, indicators)

·         Basic computer skills and ability to enter production data

·         Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift

·         Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

·         Basic math and reading skills

·         Strong attention to detail and quality

·         Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

·         Safety-focused mindset
