Role Overview As a Production Technician, you’ll be hands‑on with our sheep handling activities—both indoors and outdoors to support our immunization and antibody collection programs. You’ll work closely with the Production Manager and Senior Technicians, helping maintain records and keeping our production standards high. You’ll also play a part in our facility upkeep, following the standards set by the TGA and FDA, and meeting Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines. This role will be offered as part‑time over 4 days per fortnight Tues‑Fri with additional occassional weekend work Main Responsibilities Using low stress stock handling techniques to work with our flock and help to maintain a high standard of animal welfare Making sure animal care practices meet “best practice” standards, and following the guidelines in the “Model Code of Practice for the Welfare of Animals – The Sheep” Following all our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Performing every task with a focus on safety, hygiene, and detail What We’re Looking For Ideally, you’ll have a background in Animal Science or Agriculture, but it’s not essential Enjoy working with a big team towards a common goal Good communication skills and high attention to detail Comfortable using Microsoft Office What We Offer Employee Assistance Program Quarterly performance‑based bonuses Super Salary Sacrifice options 5 weeks annual leave, plus an extra 3 days at Christmas Full uniform provided and laundered S erb Specialty Pharmaceuticalsis an equal opportunity employer.
