Altronic LLC is seeking a Production Technician to join our team at our Girard, Ohio location. Altronic LLC provides innovative engineering and solutions for natural gas-fueled engines and manufactures high quality, high value, and reliable products. With approximately 200 employees, we are dedicated to delivering excellence in our products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design-to-manufacturing hand-off process (NPI)
  • Provide written and oral communication between manufacturing and design engineering teams
  • Write new and modify existing process work instructions to document the assembly process
  • Report manufacturing defects and failures to Methods and Design Engineering
  • Work overtime as needed per company policy
  • Work with cross-functional teams as necessary including engineering, manufacturing engineering, and production.
  • Communicate with production personnel to understand and document the manufacturing process
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering as needed or process development and documentation updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Technical knowledge:

  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering Assembly Drawings
  • Ability to work within Windows based PC environment
  • Working knowledge of Manufacturing Processes/Equipment
  • Ability to document assembly processes using Microsoft Suite with strong attention to detail

Experience and Essential Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology- preferably in electrical engineering or electronics engineering
  • 5+ years' Manufacturing technician experience
  • ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Mechanical/electrical aptitude
