Must have: Ability to Read & Execute FMIs, Mechanical/Electrical Assembly Expertise, Strong Safety Compliance

Job Summary:

We are seeking Qualified Electrical and Mechanical Assemblers to execute Field Modification Instructions (FMI) and implement tasks using materials supplied by Client.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Qualified Labor
Provide qualified personnel to execute Field Modification Instructions (FMI) and implement tasks using materials supplied by Alstom. Supervision, attendance, punctuality and performance management.

2. Pre-Work Coordination
Coordinate labor activities to ensure compliance with pre-work conditions, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), Blue Flag, and Tag procedures, as well as proper work area preparation.

3. Workmanship and Verification
Verify that all work meets industry workmanship standards, adheres to 5S good practices, and ensure completion reporting for traceability in accordance with Alstom requirements.

4. Tools and Equipment
Supply mechanical hand tools necessary for simple fastener removal and installation, interior trimming tools for cover removal, and ensure proper care of parts and train components during handling. LOTO locks and tags as well for basic PPE (Vest, boots, bump cap, winter pants, coat, hand warmers, gloves).

5. Material Control
Apply red tags to removed parts where applicable to maintain material control and traceability. Prepare the materials ahead of time for efficient work implementation.

Personnel must hold certifications for component assembly, torque application, and self verification of workmanship in accordance with industry standards for mechanical assembly or overhaul.

Personnel must be capable of routing cabling and installing electrical components such as contactors, relays, displays, antennas, and pushbuttons. Knowledge of crimping electronic and electrical terminals is required; soldering is not required.

Experienced in gluing, caulking, and sealing for industrial applications involving joint sealants.
