Role Overview: The Production Technician will manufacture bulk API pharmaceuticals according to specifications. Core Responsibilities: Complete batch records following FDA and cGMP guidelines. Provide process support and troubleshooting to meet customer requirements. Maintain the facility's FDA/cGMP standards; ensure safety equipment and participate in safety programs. Properly characterize, label, store, and dispose of waste in compliance with regulations; collaborate with EHS. Ensure production/support equipment is operational and properly labeled; work with Maintenance as needed. Handle controlled substances securely, adhering to all regulations. Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards. Participate in Emergency Response Team activities and training. Create a positive work environment, ensuring team members are trained and clear on expectations. Provide feedback to team members to foster development. Operate machines and equipment safely, making necessary adjustments. Perform basic batch processing and unit operations, including milling. Handle complex batch operations like hydrogenations. Resolve technical issues to keep production on schedule. Qualifications: High School Diploma with 5-7 years of API manufacturing experience, or AA in a related field with 3-5 years, or BS in a related field. Solid understanding of GMP and FDA regulations. Safety awareness and motivation to contribute to the team. Ability to apply scientific/technical knowledge independently. Commitment to continuous learning. Effective communication skills. Special Factors: Ability to walk, stand, reach, handle, and bend for long periods. Obtain and maintain forklift certification. Lift up to 50 lbs. Willing to work rotating shifts.
