Production Utility Operator Nd Shift Apply
- Arrives to work on time, as scheduled, and follows the company attendance policy
- Operates machinery safely according to company policies
- Follows job specifications as detailed on the job card
- Records start, completion of job, and materials used
- Performs first-piece inspection and in-process inspection in accordance to the job requirements
- Advises Lead Operator or QC of shortfalls in quality and temporarily suspends production until issue is resolved; escalates to Plant Mgr. if needed
- Completes preventative maintenance on machines as required
- Maintains proper housekeeping during and at the end of work shift
- Meets or exceeds department production efficiency and productivity goals
- Cross trained to work across various departments to fill staffing and training gaps to meet production needs/deadlines
- Observes safety and security procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 2 years of job specific experience
- Skilled in one or more of the following areas: CNC, Travelhead, Beam Press, Handcuts/Vulc.,
- Proficiency working in a computer supported environment with business software
- Basic math & language skills
- Ability to read & interpret blueprints
- Good mechanical aptitude
