Our Production Team is Kind of a Big Deal! UniFirst seeks a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Stockroom Department, you will keep our production floor stocked and ready to go as we move through the day! At UniFirst, we have a 5-day work week; enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on-the-job training.

A manages the, rolling, bundling, and sorting of cleaned floor mats and flat goods for customer orders. This role involves inspecting products for quality (tears/stains), loading, and staging orders while adhering to safety and, HACCP guidelines. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • : Operate mat rolling machinery and ensure mats are properly bundled and prepared for delivery.
  • : Select appropriate mat styles, sizes, and colors to fulfill customer orders.
  • : Inspect products for damage, stains, or excessive moisture.
  • : Follow all safety policies, including, OSHA and HACCP guidelines.
  • : Maintain a clean, organized work area and meet production quotas. 

A UniFirst Production Team Partner (Garment Inspector & Hanger) visually inspects garments for damages like tears, stains, or holes, and hangs them for processing through a steam tunnel. Key responsibilities include ensuring garments meet a 20-point quality inspection, maintaining production rates (approx. 220-240 pieces/hour), and adhering to safety, HACCP, and medical guidelines. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Inspection: Inspect, identify, and sort garments for defects.
  • Production: Hang garments for, and ensure proper, steam tunnel processing.
  • Quality Control: Ensure 20-point inspection compliance.
  • Efficiency: Maintain high-speed production standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
  • Organization: Maintain a clean work area. 

A UniFirst Production Team Partner - Stockroom Processor manages garment inventory, prepares orders for route delivery, and maintains stockroom organization. Key duties include picking orders, grading garments, emblem processing/sewing, receiving, and ensuring quality control. The role requires physical stamina, such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for 8-hour shifts. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Preparation: Sorts, inspects, and prepares garments for existing route deliveries and new customer accounts.
  • Inventory & Sorting: Handles garment grading, inventory stocking, and ensures the stockroom is organized.
  • Processing Tasks: Performs emblem processing and sewing as needed.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Maintains a clean workspace and adheres to safety policies, including HACCP and medical guidelines. 

A  manages industrial washing machines and dryers to clean uniforms and linens, ensuring proper formulas,, chemical levels, and equipment function. Key responsibilities include loading/unloading, monitoring machinery, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety/HACCP guidelines, with the ability to lift 40 lbs. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Machine Operation: Load and unload industrial washers and dryers, utilizing proper wash load formulations and sling weights.
  • Processing: Move soiled garments and mats into machines and transfer cleaned items to the designated finishing areas.
  • Maintenance & Safety: Monitor detergent supplies, report equipment malfunctions, and adhere to all safety, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
  • Documentation: Accurately record production data and maintain a clean, organized work area

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate machinery (16+ for, ).
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8-hour shifts and lift 15-30 lbs.
  • Basic, math and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
