Overview Professional Development Advisor — Our Child Care Connections Division is recruiting candidates for an open position. Provide, expand, and strengthen professional development opportunities for Northwest Minnesota early childhood professionals. Advise Parent Aware-participating educators on intentional career pathways. Responsibilities Provide, expand, and strengthen professional development opportunities for early childhood professionals in Northwest Minnesota. Advise Parent Aware–participating educators on intentional career pathways. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with the ability to obtain a Professional Development Advising endorsement through Achieve 2 years applicable experience in the early childhood field Must hold a valid driver’s license, current insurance, and be able to arrange own transportation to meet with clients and conduct business within the service delivery area Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the MN early childhood professional development system, including an understanding of early childhood related credentials and higher education opportunities Lived experience or a history working with individuals with low incomes Benefits The agency provides a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, flex spending plan, HSA, life, short-term and long-term disability, 403(b) Retirement/Thrift Plan with agency contribution, generous paid time off that includes ESST, 12 paid holidays, and a flexible work environment.
