Professional Logistics Coordinator Apply

Mission of the Position
Coordinate, manage and supervise the warehouses of raw materials, semi-finished products, spare parts, and finished products; ensuring reception, storage, preservation and delivery across the entire supply and distribution chain in a safe, high quality work environment.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the daily order loading schedule to guarantee timely delivery to customers.
Manage, control and ensure reliability of inventory for finished goods, raw materials, chemicals, packaging, spare parts, and semi finished products.
Coordinate with external warehouses regarding reception and dispatch of finished products and control cost related activities (freight, storage, loading, unloading, overtime).
Ensure all distribution center and warehouse operations comply with safety standards to prevent accidents.
Monitor daily cost overruns generated by the logistics operator based on scheduled dispatch productivity.
Ensure timely supply of raw materials and inputs to plant areas.
Supervise daily unloading, loading and material movement schedules.
Coordinate with Purchasing and Inbound Logistics on material receipt scheduling to optimize storage and avoid overruns.
Ensure material deliveries are completed in correct quantities and on time.
Ensure proper inventory management (turnover, availability, reliability).
Track blocked materials and manage timely disposal.
Monitor supplier claims and coordinate resolution with Purchasing and Inbound Logistics.
Control budget execution for assigned cost centers.
Ensure GMP compliance across all responsible warehouses.
Guarantee availability of forklift equipment for operations.
Support implementation of corporate programs: EHS, QMS, WAVE, SOX, GRC, OPEX.
Communicate and apply plant safety, quality, health and environmental policies.
Ensure completion of responsibilities and task assignments by all personnel.
Ensure logistics operator compliance with contractual and policy requirements.
Supervise scheduled maintenance activities.
Control schedules, overtime, vacations and breaks of personnel.
Prepare monthly management reports.
Monitor KPIs, meet objectives, analyze trends.
Define 3PL personnel structure for dispatch operations.
Design dispatch service processes and control models.
Ensure compliance with procedures for entry, decommissioning and inventory management under Quality, EHS, BASC and AEO systems.
Develop optimization strategies.
Manage operational control models, maquila strategy, staffing plans and recognition models.
Responsibilities Related to Quality
Comply with the Quality Policy and ensure understanding across the area.
Ensure compliance with QMS procedures including document control, non conformity management, 5S, product preservation and internal audit.
Ensure maintenance of infrastructure, preservation, identification and traceability standards.
Comply with GMP guidelines (hygiene, infrastructure, materials handling).
Ensure proper receiving and delivery processes for materials.
Define training needs for quality related tasks.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure execution of corrective and preventive actions.
Responsibilities Related to EHS
Ensure compliance with EHS standards and procedures to protect personnel, equipment and facilities.
Participate proactively in Occupational Health & Safety Management System activities.
Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement controls.
Promote prevention of accidents and occupational diseases.
Ensure worker participation in OHS processes.
Participate in accident/incident investigations and follow corrective actions.
Responsibilities Related to Road Safety
Participate in road safety training and campaigns.
Report unsafe conditions involving vehicles, drivers or facilities.
Suggest improvements to reduce traffic related incidents.
Ensure compliance with road safety standards.
Ensure safety of personnel involved in transport activities.
Provide road safety training to personnel.

Position Requirements
Education
Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related fields; postgraduate degree preferred.
Knowledge
Logistics process implementation.
Customer service and commercial operations.
Transportation and exports.
SAP, WMS and office tools.
Personnel and resource management.
Budget and inventory control.
3PL and distribution center operations.
Experience
Minimum 3 years in similar roles, preferably in distribution centers.
