About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage Mechanical and Plumbing (MP) engineering design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction site operations, and business development. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and driving business growth by identifying new opportunities.

Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple MEP projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Technical Oversight:
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics.
- Use tools such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit for project design and tracking.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, cost analysis, and construction estimating.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop the engineering team, providing technical guidance and performance reviews.
- Ensure team alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements, building codes, and quality standards.
- Manage permit applications and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Business Development:
- Act as a business development manager, seeking new client opportunities and generating leads.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive sales and expand the business.

Financial Oversight:
- Oversee project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
- Support the development of master plans, capital plans, and budgets.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Professional Mechanical Engineering License highly desirable.

Experience:
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering field.
- Proven track record of managing multiple MEP projects simultaneously.
- Strong expertise in construction methods, MEP systems, and regulatory compliance.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Extensive experience with construction estimating, cost analysis, and budgeting.

- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Business development experience is highly desirable.
