SISTEMA UNIVERSITARIO ANA G. MENDEZ SCHOOL OF VETERINARY MEDICINE The School of Veterinary Medicine of the Sistema Universitario Ana G. Mendez, Gurabo Campus, invites applications for Professor. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree is required. The incumbent will teach courses in veterinary epidemiology, public health, research methodology, infectious disease, and One Health. Prepare syllabi, lectures, laboratory/clinical materials, and assessments. Mentor and advise students in academic development, research projects, and professional growth. Participate in curriculum development and design of new courses as needed. Conduct original research in veterinary epidemiology, preventive medicine, infectious disease, and One Health. Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at professional conferences. Develop and submit extramural grant proposals to support research. Collaborate with external partners. Supervise student and junior faculty research activities. Provide academic counseling to students and contribute to program review and accreditation activities. Serve on faculty and institutional committees. Participate in community and professional service aligned with veterinary public health and One Health. Maintain board certification with the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine (Epidemiology specialty) and engage in continuing professional development. Experience: 60 -months of academic, research and administrative experience in the university field in related roles.
