RMC is hiring a Program Analyst in Indian Head, MD. The selected applicant will be responsible for providing direct project support to Command Leadership within the NSWC IHD Enterprise. Duties may include:

  • Authoring, updating and managing required program and project management documents, plans and policies in support of command efforts
  • Development, tracking and updating program of actions and milestones (POA&M)
  • Building and maintaining schedules and calendars for the implementation team
  • Tracking items to completion
  • Coordinating meetings on behalf of the command project implementation leads
  • Conducting proper retention and filing of official records in accordance with Naval policy
  • Supporting the development and management of the command project(s) internal and external communications
  • Drafting correspondence; Reviews outgoing correspondence and materials for consistency and conformance
  • Building briefing materials for senior leadership relating to command project(s)
  • Developing and maintaining performance and accuracy metrics that can be presented as requested
  • Attending meetings, preparing briefs, presentations, and updating and managing various tracking spreadsheets

Requirements

Candidate must possess an Associate’s degree with two (2) years of relevant experience or a High School diploma with four (4) years of relevant experience in a related discipline.

This position will require the candidate to have knowledge of principles and practices of office management; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Must provide customer service both internally and externally; Excellent proficiency on computer workstations to specifically include working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint) – Microsoft Project experience is highly desired.

Security Clearance: An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
